    So we've gone ahead and created a campaign, and our ads have been running for a little bit. Well, what’s next? It’s time to start to measure our ads performance to see if they are providing a return on our investment, and if so, can we improve that return. And if not, can we improve our ads to see one.

    Google AdWords itself, without even adding in Google analytics offers some great reporting capabilities. We can analyze our account, individual campaigns, ad groups, and even keywords. There are also advanced reporting that goes beyond number of clicks and impressions, which allow you to really see the effect of AdWords on your business.

    It’s very important that you’re not a stranger to your AdWords account. Make sure you log in at least weekly to check on your campaigns, but more than that is ideal. The more time you spend in AdWords, the more comfortable you will be working your way around the interface.
