    Throughout this course I’ve mentioned the importance of testing your ads for efficacy, which includes testing varieties of the same ad. You’ll want to tweak your ads by adding keywords, increasing bids, modifying placements, etcetera. You’ll also want to make small changes to the ad copy to test what wording converts the best. Testing is important to the advertising process, because if you don’t test your ads, you can’t improve them.

    The next thing is improving your keywords. One of the biggest things you can do to improve your keywords is making sure to incorporate negative keywords. Make sure you’re looking at the search term report to figure out which search queries are leading people to your website. I can guarantee, unless you are only using the most specific match type, you are going to see search queries listed that don’t have to do with your product or service.

    From the all campaigns tab, let’s choose the campaign we want to set up an experiment for. Then we choose settings. When we scroll towards the bottom we see advanced settings. The third option on this list is experiment. I’ll select the plus icon to expand it. And this is where we get to add in our experiment settings. Setup a few experiments to learn how you can create better campaigns.
