    Earlier in the course, when we discussed display ads, I mentioned remarketing ads, and I showed you an example of this. To recap, remarketing is showing advertisements to people who have visited your website before. This can be people who have clicked on an ad you’ve run, or people who have organically visited your site on their own accord. Either way. Remarketing is a really great tool that you should consider leveraging after you’re comfortable running your text ads.

    At some point it stops making sense to deliver remarketing ads to a viewer of our website. This is different based on what your product or service is, but the default is 30 days, and that’s not a bad starting point in my opinion. And when we’re done, click save, which brings us back to the audiences’ page. We now have the option of remarketing to the lists we set up.

    Back on the audiences page, we do already have an audience list set up, which is All visitors. And this list is everyone who has visited our site. But eventually we will want a more refined list that that. A remarketing list is just a collection of information about everyone who has visited our site, where they landed, what pages they clicked on, what videos they watched, if they visited multiple pages, etc. We can create lists based on that information. So let’s look at how to do that. Click the + Remarketing List red box to get started.
